Position Overview

Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) at Potential Inc., a private educational institution dedicated to supporting learners with autism, are responsible for designing and implementing behavior intervention strategies for students. This role includes supervising Registered Behavior Technicians and collaborating with educators to enhance skill acquisition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee behavior intervention plans for students
  • Conduct assessments, including functional analyses
  • Develop effective positive behavior support strategies
  • Complete behavior-related sections of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Create, manage, and analyze data collection systems
  • Provide progress reports at least quarterly
  • Engage in quarterly home visits for parent training
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Ensure compliance with BACB supervision requirements for RBTs
  • Assist in the development and execution of in-service training
  • Support teachers and allied health professionals
  • Contribute to problem-solving for skill acquisition programs
  • Research alternative teaching methodologies
  • Collaborate on innovative strategies using scientific approaches

Job Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or PhD in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials
  • Preferred: PA Behavior Specialist License
  • Knowledge of current issues relevant to autism spectrum disorder and special education
  • Required: Understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Experience with assessment tools such as VP-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essentials for Living, or similar
  • Supervisory or management experience
