Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Residency Program Administrator to oversee the daily operations and logistics of our Family Medicine Residency program. This role is crucial in ensuring the program's smooth functioning through effective planning, organization, and coordination. The Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accreditation standards, evaluating program performance, and overseeing financial aspects of the residency program within a Federally Qualified Health Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Director to manage all aspects of daily program operations, including accreditation maintenance, faculty and resident evaluations, and financial management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the residency program and various stakeholders, including faculty, students, and community partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for residents and students, ensuring all credentialing and HR requirements are met.
  • Coordinate educational experiences for residents, including clinical rotations and didactic sessions, while ensuring all evaluations are completed.
  • Support the Program Director during accreditation site visits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with established criteria.
Qualifications

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant leadership experience; OR
  • Associate degree with 4 years of relevant leadership experience; OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
Experience
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Administrative experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in residency programs is a plus but not mandatory.
Skills and Competencies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications, with the ability to learn new software as needed.
