Client Engagement Analyst

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) is seeking a dedicated Analyst to become a vital member of the Client Communications team within the Research Division.

This role involves actively participating in the creation of tailored, client-focused materials that effectively highlight Virginia's competitive strengths to significant corporations considering relocation or expansion.

As a collaborative position, it necessitates close cooperation and coordination with internal stakeholders, subject-matter experts, as well as state, regional, and local collaborators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and critically assess project data to gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, competitive environment, project challenges, and more.
  • Oversee the production of client materials that accurately address inquiries, showcasing Virginia's value proposition and emphasizing critical winning themes.
  • Collaborate with technical personnel, subject matter experts, and external partners to create, review, and refine narratives, analyses, graphics, and other deliverables.
  • Utilize project management tools effectively to guarantee timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with client specifications.
  • Assist with additional strategic initiatives and research projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize information and data from various sources clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in problem analysis and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Competence in visually representing data creatively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with InDesign and/or other Adobe tools.
  • Understanding of economic development or regional/urban planning.
