Position Overview

The Role

As a pivotal member of the Sales Leadership Team, the Senior Vice President of Sales will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer. This executive position is crucial for steering profitable expansion in alignment with the company's overarching growth ambitions. The role is characterized by high visibility and significant impact, focusing on the formulation of revenue enhancement and business development strategies that lead to the successful attainment of sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set sales goals by predicting and crafting annual sales targets.
  • Ensure sales volume, product assortment, and pricing strategies are maintained by staying informed about market demand, evolving trends, economic indicators, and competitive activities.
  • Oversee sales forecasting with a commitment to high-quality, accurate, and consistent processes.
  • Create and uphold precise territory plans.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics to assess the quality of lead and pipeline data, offering insights to enhance overall data integrity and lead generation methodologies.
  • Deliver essential business insights and key performance indicators to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and constructive performance feedback to team members.
  • Establish best practices among account executives to foster process efficiency and boost lead conversion rates.
  • Devise customer-focused sales strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and market share.
  • Collect market insights from clients to inform product improvements.
  • Further cultivate both new and existing market relationships.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated sales leadership and coaching experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to articulate and convey the company's value proposition, technological capabilities, processes, and product offerings effectively.
  • A strong desire to surpass expectations, with a knack for identifying solutions and delivering results in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, technology-driven environment.
  • Expertise in utilizing tools such as SalesLoft, Zoom Info, Chorus, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Proficient in data analysis, report preparation, and effective communication of information in a concise manner, with the ability to make strategic recommendations based on data trends.
  • Capability to manage multiple initiatives, adhere to tight deadlines, and drive results.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape and market trends in commercial real estate data and analytics.
