We are currently seeking a skilled Vice President, Pension Risk Transfer Pricing Lead to join our Institutional Division. This role offers flexibility with options for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership
- Direct all pricing strategies for the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) product line, ensuring they align with our long-term financial goals.
- Implement pricing strategies that enhance profitability while managing associated risks.
- Foster innovation in product development, enhance team capabilities, and optimize return on investment to meet growth targets for the PRT product line.

Innovation and Process Improvement
- Lead transaction pricing and develop a robust pricing infrastructure to encourage innovation.
- Continuously improve pricing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish strong controls to ensure pricing meets expected returns.

Collaboration and Relationship Management
- Collaborate with the Head of PRT to shape and execute the overall PRT strategy.
- Work alongside Enterprise Model Development to support pricing initiatives as necessary.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Valuation to ensure smooth transitions from pricing to valuation.
- Assist in developing product strategies for new market opportunities as required.

Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 actuaries, guiding them in strategic pricing initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support key enterprise projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

• Over 15 years of experience in various actuarial roles and product lines

• In-depth knowledge of the Pension Risk Transfer product line

• Extensive expertise in pricing, valuation, risk management, and model development

• Experience with a variety of products, particularly fixed and variable annuities, stable value products, funding agreements, and PRT

• Proven leadership skills in engaging and developing a large actuarial team

• A proactive approach to embracing change and challenging the status quo

• Demonstrated ability to positively influence operational outcomes to support management objectives.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $235,000 to $300,700, in addition to annual and long-term incentives.
