Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Customer Service Representative to join our team at RadNet Radiology. As a Contact Center Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling exams for patients, while providing exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule patient exams, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
  • Communicate with patients, referring physicians, and clinical site staff to ensure accurate and timely scheduling.
  • Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding exam details, preparation, and follow-up instructions.
  • Handle customer service-related requests, including answering questions, resolving issues, and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Enter accurate information into RIS for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation, and comment entry.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance plans and billing procedures.
  • Proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office software.
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
