About the Position

Concern Housing is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general office and administrative support, as well as certain accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, stamping, and distributing mail
  • Maintaining office supplies and preparing purchase orders
  • Typing documents, letters, and other materials as needed
  • Assisting with secure filing and storage of tenant charts and LIHTC documents
  • Collaborating with the Property Maintenance department to maintain the work order system
  • Maintaining the Office Equipment Room and ensuring proper operation of all agency machines
  • Overseeing the rent payment system, including copying and logging cash receipts and processing tenant check payments
  • Transferring and copying check information onto an Excel spreadsheet
  • Working with the Director and Supervisor to track health care outcomes and develop/update care coordination databases

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma with a minimum of four years of administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
