Role Summary:

The Human Resources division at Lockheed Martin Space delivers strategic support for human capital that aligns with the core objectives of the organization.

This dynamic hybrid role will provide Labor Relations and HR expertise to designated Operations functions.

The chosen candidate will play a vital role in championing Lockheed Martin's core values and culture, collaborating with business leaders on strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively engaging with program leadership to influence and enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching, consultation, and guidance to leaders on effective people management, organizational structure, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee Labor Relations duties for FBM Mission Operations locations, managing the administration and interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for represented employees.
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of labor relations activities, including contract administration, grievance investigations, and negotiations.
  • Advise management on the application and administration of various collective bargaining agreements and labor relations policies.
  • Participate in the collective bargaining process and conduct disciplinary hearings as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or Labor Relations Representative.
  • Strong understanding of Human Resource practices and applicable laws.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with onsite and virtual teams.
  • Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills:
  • 6+ years of HR experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment with represented employees.
  • Previous leadership experience in Labor Relations.
  • Proficiency in HR data analytics.
  • Experience working with government contracts or military installations.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position mandates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.


Work Environment:

This position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedule:

Lockheed Martin offers various alternate work schedules, including standard 40-hour weeks and condensed schedules for additional time off.
