Role Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Project Coordinator will oversee a project team composed of two financial analysts and a writer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting field assessments for each project, including a thorough review of the company's inventory management systems.
  • Managing communications with both the appraised company and the client.
  • Performing in-depth reviews of the appraised company's financial statements and researching relevant industries to ascertain current valuations and future prospects.
  • Assessing both internal and external transaction risks while implementing strategies to mitigate these risks for clients and stakeholders.
  • Executing market analyses of vulnerable and distressed industries to formulate liquidation strategies for appraised entities.
  • Collaborating with internal team members to develop financial exhibits and comprehensive narratives that support the liquidation strategies.
  • Engaging in follow-up discussions with company and client representatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; professional certifications or an MBA are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in asset-based lending, trading, distressed debt, equity research, finance, business valuation, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and think critically.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines.
