Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
  • Develop and implement internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget formulation.
  • Supervise the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and the annual budget.
  • Manage the month-end closing process and provide insights on financial trends.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of intercompany balances.
  • Oversee the generation of periodic financial statements.
  • Reconcile all accounts within the general ledger.
  • Conduct thorough monthly and periodic inventory reporting, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze customer accounts and manage associated credit risks.
  • Guarantee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications Required:
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced accounting roles.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
