Position Overview:

The Component Qualification Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the qualification of standard industry components such as DIMM, SSD, and HDD within Enterprise Server systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising Program Managers on the planning and execution of testing schedules.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams, system integrators, and component vendors to identify, diagnose, and rectify testing failures.
  • Diagnosing hardware, firmware, and software issues effectively.
  • Creating automation scripts for test execution utilizing PowerShell and Python.
  • Formulating functional and performance test scenarios to validate the operation of industry-standard DIMM, SSD, and HDD in Enterprise Servers.
  • Supporting the lab team in troubleshooting and resolving issues that hinder test execution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in testing Enterprise Servers or standard server components like DIMM, SSD, and HDD.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards including DDR4, DDR5, NVMe, PCIe, and SATA.
  • Experience in developing test scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Strong debugging capabilities with a track record of resolving intricate computer issues at hardware, firmware, and software levels.
  • Solid grasp of Enterprise Server architecture.
  • Experience in creating individual test cases and comprehensive test plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams to facilitate test execution.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server Operating System.
  • Experience with platform-level test architecture and debugging tools such as ITP, Arium, ARM JTAG tools, or their equivalents.
  • Expertise in utilizing test tools, including performance benchmarks, IO stress tools, memory stress tools, and bug management systems.

The salary range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target across all US locations, with individual compensation determined by work location, job level, and other relevant factors such as skills, experience, and education. Additional compensation may include performance-based bonuses and other variable incentives.
