Position Overview:
As an Addiction Medicine Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services. Your empathetic nature and customer service experience will be essential in providing support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome patients and manage incoming calls while performing necessary administrative tasks to assist clinical departments.
2. Utilize computerized scheduling systems to coordinate appointment times effectively.
3. Confirm insurance coverage and facilitate the precertification or authorization process as required.
4. Process necessary payments, including co-pays and deductibles, and refer patients to financial advisors when needed.
5. Ensure accurate and timely entry of all essential demographic, billing, and clinical data into the registration system.

Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
