Job Title: Cyber Information System Security Professional (CISSP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, execute, and oversee a robust cybersecurity strategy.
  • Detect and address potential security risks and weaknesses within systems and networks.
  • Perform routine security evaluations, risk analyses, and penetration tests.
  • React to security breaches and conduct comprehensive post-incident reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to industry benchmarks, governmental regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance security measures and practices.
  • Administer security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
  • Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives for staff.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends, threats, and advancements in cybersecurity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • CISSP certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related area.
  • Thorough understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with security technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, STIGS, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Expertise in conducting security evaluations, risk analyses, and penetration tests.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible for a Secret Level DoD Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in cloud security, intrusion detection systems, secure software development, and identity and access management.
  • Additional certifications such as CISM, CEH, Pentest+, or CASP+ are advantageous.
