Position Overview:
Thazen is on the lookout for skilled Information Security Systems Specialists to enhance our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering technical support to users of the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert assistance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving technical challenges.
- Document and track technical issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Monitor reported issues, conduct thorough investigations, and utilize product documentation to devise effective solutions.
- Guide users through troubleshooting processes and escalate complex issues as necessary.
- Support software upgrades and manage user profiles to maintain high service standards.
- Utilize Jira Service Manager tools and vSphere for effective oversight of the PCTE platform.
- Adapt to user feedback to continuously enhance the customer experience.
- Deliver comprehensive support across various security classifications, including Unclassified, Sec/REL, and Top-Secret levels.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate user information entry.
- Strong analytical skills to address real-world challenges and implement solutions aligned with corporate policies and industry standards.
- Professional-level expertise in virtual environments, network functionalities, and technical problem-solving.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving customer needs and requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Willingness to work various shifts and weekends as required.
- Experience in configuring, executing, and troubleshooting virtual environments within PCTE.
- Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Identity Management (IdM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) utilizing Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).
- Ability to effectively collaborate with vendors, users, customers, and developers to address changing operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, systems engineering, software engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. (Five years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.)
- 8570 Compliant IAT Level II or higher, with certifications such as Security+ or CISSP required within six months of hire.
Note: Eligibility for this position requires U.S. Citizenship status and a Secret or Top Secret security clearance, as specified by government contract requirements.
