About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst / Information System Security Officer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for performing classified cybersecurity duties supporting multiple programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Information System Security Operations: Oversee day-to-day information system security operations, including auditing the IS, hardware, and software implementations and RMF package authorizations.
  • Technical Administration: Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Network and Security Events: Upkeep, monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events.
  • Compliance Actions: Document compliance actions with the ISSM to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
  • System Operations: Ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices.
  • Security Audits: Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections; performs risk assessments.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure records are maintained for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, telephony equipment, etc. throughout the information system's life cycle.
  • Change Management: Evaluate proposed changes or additions to the information system, and advise the ISSM of their security relevance.
  • Configuration Management: Ensure configuration management (CM) for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
  • Incident Response: Assist in conducting investigations of computer security violations and incidents, reporting as necessary.
  • Security Program Management: Communicate, implement and manage a formal Information Security / Information Systems Security Program together with ISSM and Program Security.

Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain an Interim SECRET Security Clearance.
  • Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Experience: Information Systems auditing experience.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable of operating system security requirements.
  • Skills: Hands on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
  • RMF Experience: Experience with developing, reviewing and maintaining RMF artifacts.
  • Operating System Experience: Demonstrated technical experience in Windows and Linux based operating systems and command line.
  • System Accreditation: Previous experience working with system accreditation requirements and NIST DAAPM/JSIG) RMF implementation.
  • Complex Technologies: Experience implementing complex technologies within large environments, possessing strong technical skills.
  • Security Tools: Experience setting up or using Tenable Nessus / Security Center, Splunk or other SEIM tools.
Desired Skills
  • System Hardening: In-depth experience in system hardening, analysis, and vulnerability management.
  • Complex Technologies: Experience implementing complex technologies within large environments, possessing strong technical skills.
  • Agile Operations: Understand Agile operations while possessing sound business acumen.
  • Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages.
  • STIGs: Experience implementing or validating Secure Technical Implementation Guidance (STIGs).
