As an Information Security Specialist within the Program Protection Organization, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of Anti-Tamper and embedded Cybersecurity initiatives. Your primary focus will be on architecting, executing, and evaluating anti-tamper and embedded cybersecurity strategies for our advanced product offerings.

Responsibilities include:
- Delivering embedded System Security Engineering design and execution throughout the System Security Engineering (SSE) process for Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems.
- Identifying and addressing System Security threats and risks throughout the development lifecycle of embedded Weapon Systems.
- Validating the decomposition, allocation, and analysis of System Security Engineering requirements for embedded Weapon Systems.
- Implementing System Security Engineering solutions in both hardware and software domains.
- Designing, deploying, and sustaining cutting-edge System Security architectures and countermeasures to safeguard innovative Lockheed Martin products.
- Prototyping and assessing System Security countermeasures to defend against cyber threats targeting our Weapon System products.
- Collaborating with Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to integrate System Security Engineering into a diverse array of high-integrity, security-critical systems.
- For this position, we typically seek candidates with 9 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 7 years of experience with a Master's degree, or equivalent experience and education.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Candidates must be eligible to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to employment and maintain it throughout their tenure.
- Experience in the DoD systems development life-cycle (SDLC).
- Implementing System Security requirements to meet U.S. government compliance.
- Supporting validation and verification of security requirements.
- Possessing an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT/IAM Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.) or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
- Experience in developing embedded DoD National Security Systems (NSS) with a focus on Systems Security Engineering.
- Design experience throughout the DoD systems development life-cycle.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in embedded systems design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with embedded system vulnerability assessments and Software Assurance (SwA) activities.
- Comprehensive understanding of System Security Engineering principles and processes.
- Experience with the identification and verification of NIST SP Security Controls.
- Involvement in Security Verification testing for developed DoD Weapon Systems.
- Knowledge of missile and/or aircraft fire control system interfaces.
- Systems Engineering experience with Open System Architecture design.
- Understanding of Critical Program Information (CPI) assessment and protection strategies.
- Familiarity with NSA-approved cryptographic standards and methods.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and development of MBSE diagrams.
