Job Title: HR Director

OrthoAlaska LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to lead our human resources functions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support the goals and objectives of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Partner with management to identify and address workforce issues and develop solutions to drive employee engagement and retention
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Manage HR staff and provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of employee engagement programs, including recognition programs, surveys, and communication strategies
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues
  • Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge and support talent management goals
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and develop recommendations to improve HR processes and programs
  • Lead the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to support a culture of respect, understanding, and inclusivity
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market
  • Maintain HRIS and other HR systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency and support data-driven decision making
  • Work in partnership with the payroll team to ensure timeliness and accuracy in matters of payroll and timekeeping

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Able to work in-person at OrthoAlaska's Anchorage headquarters and travel occasionally to satellite locations in Anchorage and elsewhere

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a healthcare setting
