Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the House Attendant is to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the hotel premises, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, team members, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restock linen closets with necessary supplies for room attendants, including direct delivery to their carts when needed.
  • Remove soiled linens and trash from room attendant carts.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing spots from corridor walls and doors, and polishing mirrors and elevator doors.
  • Perform vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping in hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Assist in flipping mattresses and relocating furniture as directed by supervisors.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for shifts.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
  • Possess a proactive attitude and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Exhibit professionalism in appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, adapting style to various audiences.
