Position Overview:
The Housekeeping Support Staff plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests, team members, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure linen closets are well-stocked with necessary amenities and supplies for housekeeping staff, including direct delivery to rooms as needed.
  • Manage the disposal of soiled linens and waste from housekeeping carts.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing stains from corridor walls and doors, and ensuring mirrors and room numbers are polished.
  • Conduct regular cleaning of hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and lobbies through vacuuming, sweeping, or mopping.
  • Assist in flipping mattresses and moving furniture as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain consistent availability for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Possess a proactive attitude and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Exhibit professionalism in appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Comprehension of and ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style to various audiences.
