Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the House Attendant is to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the hotel premises, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Restock linen closets with necessary amenities and supplies for room attendants, including direct deliveries when required.
  • Clear soiled linens and waste from room attendant carts.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of corridor walls and doors, including polishing mirrors and guest room door numbers.
  • Conduct vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of hallways, stairwells, and common areas.
  • Assist in flipping mattresses and relocating furniture as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
  • Possess a self-motivated attitude with a balanced demeanor.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues with their responsibilities and work collaboratively.
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy items, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Comprehend and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, adapting style as needed for various audiences.
