YOUTH SUPPORT PARTNER - Full time

LOCATION: Everett, WA

Compass Health is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Partner to contribute to the Children's Intensive Services program in Everett.

The Children's Intensive Outpatient Services aim to assist children and their families within their community, ensuring a supportive and least restrictive environment through the Wraparound process. This approach emphasizes the importance of family voice and choice, recognizing individual strengths, building natural supports, and promoting self-sufficiency. Our Wraparound teams deliver comprehensive behavioral health services to Medicaid-eligible individuals up to 21 years old, addressing complex behavioral health needs while supporting families. The primary objective is to enable eligible youth to thrive in their homes and communities, minimizing the need for disruptive out-of-home placements. Services, including assessment and treatment, are provided in the youth and family's natural environments, such as home, school, and community settings. Families have reported significant positive outcomes, including enhanced stability, increased community support, and renewed hope for the future.

Key Responsibilities

We are in search of an individual who can collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary treatment team, utilizing a personalized, creative, and strength-based approach aligned with the Wraparound model. This role involves supporting youth and caregivers to maintain children in a community-based and least restrictive environment.

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including evening and weekend hours, and entails working in various settings, including the office, client homes, and community spaces. Youth Support Partners will engage clients to foster their active participation in informed decision-making throughout the Wraparound process. They will ensure that each client's voice is heard and that their unique needs are addressed and met. Youth Support Partners bring personal experience of living with a behavioral health disorder as a young person, which enhances their ability to connect with and inspire hope in the youth they serve.
