YOUTH SUPPORT PARTNER - Full time
LOCATION: Everett, WA
Compass Health is actively seeking a Youth Support Partner to be part of the Children's Intensive Services program in Everett.
The Children's Intensive Outpatient Services aim to assist children and their families within their community, ensuring a supportive and least restrictive environment through the Wraparound approach. This model emphasizes honoring family input and preferences, recognizing strengths, building natural support systems, and promoting self-sufficiency. Wraparound teams deliver comprehensive behavioral health services to Medicaid-eligible individuals, up to 21 years old, who have complex behavioral health needs, along with their families. The primary objective of this program is to enable eligible youth to thrive in their homes and communities while minimizing or preventing disruptive out-of-home placements. Assessment, treatment, and support services are provided in the natural settings of the youth and family, where challenges arise (such as at home, school, and in the community). Families have reported positive outcomes, including increased stability, enhanced support, community connections, and renewed hope for the future.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for an individual who can collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to deliver a personalized, innovative, and strength-based approach within the Wraparound framework. This role involves supporting youth and caregivers to ensure children remain in a community-based and least restrictive environment.
This position requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours, both in the office and in the community. Youth Support Partners engage with clients to facilitate their active participation in making informed decisions that guide the Wraparound process. The Youth Support Partners ensure that each client’s voice is heard and their unique needs are addressed. Youth Support Partners bring their own lived experience of overcoming behavioral health challenges as youth, which enables them to connect with and inspire hope in the program's participants.
