Automation Sales Engineer

Acieta is seeking a dedicated Sales Applications Engineer to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by delivering high-quality proposals and contracts that reflect a comprehensive understanding of client needs, positioning Acieta for optimal success. This position requires in-depth analysis of the client's products, their manufacturing processes, and a solid grasp of the equipment we provide to enhance their operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our product offerings through ongoing training and hands-on experience with the equipment to ensure a clear understanding of its capabilities.
  • Achieve proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD 2D, Inventor, Word, Excel, and Salesforce.
  • Organize and manage all application-related data in accordance with established formats, including file storage and data archiving.
  • Utilize standard forms effectively for proposals and cost estimations.
  • Provide detailed operational sequences with time estimates, ensuring all necessary information for accurate proposals is gathered. This may involve extracting critical information from clients who may lack experience in automation.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to specify equipment requirements that align with our internal standards.
  • Ensure timely responses to proposal requests.
  • Suggest improvements to processes or cost reductions in the design or manufacturing of our products. Actively participate in assigned teams even after order issuance.
  • Work alongside the Team Leader to address any issues that arise during order execution, supporting day-to-day communications with clients as needed.
  • Undertake additional tasks and assignments as directed by the Sales Development Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Manufacturing Automation: A minimum of 3 years is preferred.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Proficiency: At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities in small to medium-sized groups.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Alignment with Acieta Culture: A solid understanding and belief in the values of Acieta.
