Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of mechanical, plumbing, and controls systems.
  • Engineering Drawings: Read and understand complex engineering drawings, including wiring, architecture, and sequences.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate work with other trades and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Installation and Testing: Inspect and document the physical installation of control systems, ensuring correct installation and termination of control-point wiring.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues and determine corrective action to repair systems and components.
  • Software Development: Analyze and modify control software to ensure proper HVAC comfort and energy management control.
  • Commissioning and Training: Support commissioning activities and provide training to owners/operators on building automation systems.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation systems and associated components.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in facilities automation, building management systems, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, manage workload, and program DDC software.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant certifications.
  • Background Check: Must pass a thorough background check for access to a military installation.
