Position Summary: We are seeking an Engineering Manager for Electrical and Automation to join our Product Platforms and Engineering team. You will be part of an organization recognized as a frontrunner in the mobile electrification sector, known for delivering high-quality products and exceptional post-sale service that solidifies our niche in the market. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of electrical and automation engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring alignment with group objectives.
  • Utilize critical thinking and a process-oriented approach to tackle challenges and promote continuous improvement within the team.
  • Oversee the timely completion of significant projects, new product developments, and customer support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with risk management, EHS, engineering, and manufacturing teams to identify trends and implement preventative measures to enhance product and process reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in managing and leading technical teams, including roles such as engineering manager or supervisor.
  • Familiarity with UL, IEC, FCC, and similar standards for electrical system design and compliance.
  • Extensive knowledge of embedded system design, firmware, and software development.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8, Altium Designer, and Embedded Software development in C.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high productivity levels.
  • Desirable knowledge of programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, and Industrial Ethernet communication protocols.
