Platform Property Care is excited to announce an opportunity for a seasoned Housing Void Assessment Specialist to join our dedicated Voids team. This role will involve assessing properties in various locations, ensuring that our standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by conducting thorough inspections of vacant properties, accurately identifying required works in accordance with our Letting and Service standards.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to facilitate swift and efficient property turnaround, determining when a property is ready for the next occupant.
  • Provide both practical and technical assistance to the Service Manager and Supervisor, ensuring operational goals are met effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of a relevant trade qualification is essential.
  • Experience in a multi-skilled work environment.
  • Background in a customer-oriented setting.
  • Proven experience in housing inspections.
  • Ability to make critical decisions, demonstrating accountability for successful service delivery outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication abilities, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • A full UK driving licence is mandatory due to the mobile nature of the role.
  • A DBS check will be required as you will be working in residential settings.

This position involves travel across various towns, and candidates ideally should be located in areas that facilitate this mobility.
