Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Government Technology Implementation, IT Governance, or a similar discipline (relevant work experience may substitute for degree)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in performing thorough risk evaluations of information systems, applications, and processes to uncover potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts
- Knowledgeable in NIST SP Security Standards
- Proficient in assessing systems and generating documentation to illustrate compliance with Section 530 requirements; capable of collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, CISA, or equivalent qualifications
Position Overview
Insight Global is seeking to hire two IT Security Analysts to work in a hybrid capacity. The selected candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to the Commonwealth of Virginia's Information Security Policies and Standards. This will involve collaboration with the IT Department, Information Security Department, and relevant technical teams and stakeholders.
The primary focus of these roles will be to assess the systems across various departments, provide strategic recommendations to bolster their cybersecurity posture, and ensure compliance with established standards. The compensation for this position ranges from 90k to 110k, depending on the level of experience.
