POSITION SUMMARY

This role is based in Denver and is part of the Finance team, where you will thrive in a dynamic, international setting while gaining comprehensive experience in global financial management.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure prompt payments from our B2B customers in North America, collaborating closely with both internal and external sales representatives and managing customer accounts. This will involve processing credit notes and addressing various inquiries.

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Lead, this position is crucial within the finance function and essential for the success of our operations in North America.

You will be part of a vibrant team that values collaboration and excellence.

This role offers exposure to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, enhancing your business partnership skills and soft skills.

We seek proactive individuals who can identify solutions ahead of time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely payments from B2B customers in the North American region.
  • Follow up on overdue payments in accordance with Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Perform daily payment reconciliations.
  • Conduct bank runs twice a week for check deposits.
  • Verify the accuracy and reliability of invoices and credit notes.
  • Maintain an updated Accounts Receivable listing for North America.
  • Provide a clear and concise weekly review to the Global Accounts Receivable Manager.
  • Adhere to Accounts Receivable processes and internal controls in the North American region.
  • Manage and accurately file emails in the Accounts Receivable inbox.
  • Report any issues to the Global Accounts Receivable Manager promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable within a corporate setting is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Process-oriented and forward-thinking mindset.
  • Confidence in communicating with customers and handling challenging conversations.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on, able to work independently while being team-oriented.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
