Key Responsibilities- Cultivate a Collaborative Team Environment: Foster a supportive and professional team culture that promotes growth and development.
- Oversee AR and Collections Processes: Manage the accounts receivable and collections processes, including maintenance of weekly reports and leading monthly status meetings.
- Process Transactions: Review and post transactions such as invoices, sales orders, and payments, including processing ACH and credit card payments via website and web portals, and daily cash receipt entry of checks, ACH, and credit card payments.
- Interact with Internal Departments: Ensure accuracy of invoicing and resolution of customer issues by interacting with various internal departments.
- Coordinate with AR Team: Collaborate with the AR team to ensure a timely accounts receivable close.
- Contribute to Accounting Close Processes: Participate in monthly accounting close processes, including making standard monthly journal entries and preparing month-end reports.
- Enter and Maintain Customers: Enter and maintain customers in the ERP system.
- Respond to Client Inquiries: Respond to client account inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support Sales Reps: Support sales reps by researching orders for pricing, customer information, and other requests.
- Develop Ad Hoc Reports: Develop and prepare ad hoc reports as necessary.
- Provide Reporting and Documentation: Provide reporting and documentation as requested for various company audits.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Fields
- 5+ Years of Accounts Receivable Experience
- Management or Supervisory Experience
- Confident Communicator
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to Adapt to a Changing Business Environment
- Proactive Problem-Solving Skills
