Position Summary: The Senior Community Engagement Manager will spearhead the development and execution of community engagement strategies in collaboration with the community engagement team. This role involves cultivating and nurturing robust relationships with local stakeholders to advance organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain active engagement within the community to identify key needs and opportunities for impactful initiatives.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with regional organizations that align with DTE Energy's community engagement strategy.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting to leadership regarding engagement activities and program effectiveness.
  • Oversee the execution of community outreach processes, including presentations, meetings, and events.
  • Research and implement programs that enhance relationships with the community, public authorities, and employees.
  • Support the development of team members and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Enhance visibility and reputation through outreach, partnership programs, and charitable initiatives.
  • Stay informed on community trends and issues, providing recommendations for addressing concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
  • Established relationships with community stakeholders.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
