Key Responsibilities:
Oversee coordination and management of the Refugee program(s) at the designated center, under the guidance of the Program Manager.

Specific Duties Include:

1. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of, coordinate, and implement Refugee Resettlement and/or Refugee Employment Programs in accordance with contract and licensing requirements, funding source guidelines, and accreditation standards.

2. Supervise daily operations and activities of staff; provide continuous guidance, training, and support in alignment with organizational policies and program guidelines.

3. Assist the Program Manager in the recruitment, hiring, and termination processes; conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as per organizational policies; maintain ongoing communication with the director regarding these activities.

4. Aid in the development and execution of program outcomes and evaluations related to service delivery; contribute to the preparation of year-end program evaluations and reports.

5. Coordinate the client referral process with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS); ensure that referrals, interim reports, and placement details comply with DHHS requirements.

6. Provide direct services as necessary to guarantee uninterrupted service delivery to clients as mandated by licensing and funding sources.

7. Assist in the development and writing of grant proposals to secure funding and renew contracts.

8. Collaborate with the organization's communication and marketing department, as well as public and private community organizations, to promote services.

9. Complete required narrative and statistical reports.

10. Work alongside representatives from local governmental agencies, businesses, and community organizations to achieve program service objectives.

11. Assist in the creation, maintenance, and communication of written guidelines and procedures governing program operations and activities.

Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification:


Sixty college credit hours in a human services-related field, with four years of experience providing direct services to refugees and asylees preferred.

Alternatively,

A Bachelor's degree in a human services-related field with two years of experience providing direct services to refugees and asylees preferred.

Experience:
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Additional Work Requirements:
Automobile travel is required. A valid unrestricted driver's license with a good driving record is necessary. Reliable personal automobile with valid proof of automobile insurance is required.
