Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Support Specialist to join our team at the South Carolina Bar. As a key member of our executive staff, you will provide administrative support and project assistance to our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Manage and coordinate executive schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements. Prepare and review documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Communication Management: Act as a liaison between the executive team and internal/external parties. Draft and manage correspondence, emails, and phone communications.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items. Ensure meetings are productive and time-efficient.
  • Project Management: Assist with special projects, research, and data analysis. Coordinate and track project progress and deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive information and corporate matters.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates or Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to skillfully express, transmit and interpret knowledge and ideas.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, organize activities and meet deadlines.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently and effectively.
Desired Experience
  • Government or Association Experience: Two years' experience in government or association environment.
  • Administrative Experience: Two -three years of experience in an administrative role.
Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged stationary position for computer work and general office duties. Must be able to move around inside the office to access office machinery, office equipment and meet with staff. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
