Position Overview:

The Technical Sales Consultant - Machine Components will engage closely with the Customer Service Center, fostering interactions with clients and team members to enhance and sustain revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying components on bills of materials
  • Interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Generating quotes and processing orders
  • Following up on orders
  • Creating proposals
  • Providing customer support
  • Maintaining organized documentation
  • Responding to inquiries from vendors and colleagues
  • Addressing accounts receivable concerns
  • Assisting with parts sales across various product lines
  • Collaborating with Engineering to develop recommended spare parts lists
  • Offering technical support to customers and service technicians as needed

Travel may be necessary based on sales requirements, but is not anticipated to exceed 25%.

Qualifications:
  • A.A.S. degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales or a related field
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent time management capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Self-motivated and solution-focused
  • Team-oriented
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Encompix
Compensation:

Salary range: $45,000 - $70,000 annually
