About the Role:

The FEP Clerk I or II is a hybrid role within our organization, offering a unique blend of challenge and fulfillment. As a member of our FEP Service & Operations team, you will be the backbone of our organization, providing exceptional administrative support to various departments and collaborating seamlessly with staff and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, maintaining supplies, delivering documents, and scheduling office equipment maintenance
  • Enter tracking information on our system, verify accuracy of documents, and maintain subscriber and provider files
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, contracts, riders, and amendments; maintain inventory and mail out individual policies and certificates
  • Research returned mail, assist staff with obtaining missing information, and communicate with other departments to deliver or collect critical information

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED, and a combination of education and work experience
  • Basic knowledge of FEP specific systems, including CRM and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy, and patience
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet timeliness and quality standards, and accurately identify and assign various types of correspondence
