We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Generalist in a dynamic environment who is ready to transition into a solo HR Manager role at our boutique law firm, LHH. This position offers an opportunity to lead HR functions independently while enjoying a supportive environment that provides 100% paid medical benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance within the firm.
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and collaborate with external payroll service providers as needed.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the firm's goals and legal requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Utilize HRIS (Bamboo preferred) to manage employee records, benefits administration, and reporting.
  • Analyze HR metrics to assess effectiveness of programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on employment law and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within a boutique law firm or corporate services environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes and systems; prior experience in managing payroll is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; knowledge of Bamboo or ADP is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the firm.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
