Veterinary Client Service Representative (Part-Time)

Overview

Innovetive Petcare is committed to delivering outstanding emergency and specialty veterinary services. Our dedicated team is available around the clock to assist pets and their owners during critical times. We are looking for a skilled Client Service Representative to enhance our front desk operations in a part-time capacity, focusing on morning and weekend shifts.

Role Responsibilities

Client Engagement:
  • Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
  • Respond to phone inquiries swiftly, providing essential information about services, appointment scheduling, and emergency protocols.
  • Assist clients with the check-in and check-out processes, including payment handling and insurance claim processing.
Administrative Functions:
  • Maintain organized and accurate client records, ensuring all information is current and well-documented.
  • Schedule and oversee appointments, including urgent visits, follow-ups, and consultations with specialists.
  • Collaborate with veterinary staff to communicate vital information and updates regarding patient care.
Facility Oversight:
  • Ensure the reception area is clean and organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and their pets.
  • Monitor inventory for front desk supplies, placing orders for replacements as necessary.
Communication and Support:
  • Deliver clear and compassionate communication to clients regarding their pets' care, treatment options, and necessary instructions.
  • Assist the veterinary team by providing relevant client information and addressing immediate needs or concerns.
Qualifications

Experience:
  • Prior experience as a Client Service Representative or in a similar reception role, preferably within a veterinary or medical environment, is essential.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is highly beneficial.
Skills:
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to remain composed and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in office software and electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
