As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of high-quality mechanical projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project timelines and objectives.
  • Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and site logistics.
  • Track project progress and communicate any issues or delays to the project manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to assist with on-site management and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Construction administrative role.
  • Knowledge of methods, equipment, and tools utilized in the HVAC service and installation sector.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required; additional education or certifications in construction management or a related field is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; experience with industry software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Revue, Revit, and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet job deadlines.
