Role Summary:
We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Foreman to oversee piping projects. This role is crucial in managing daily operations, from initial planning through to successful execution. You will lead teams, assign tasks, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain project timelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned expert in piping and HVAC systems to significantly influence our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the installation and upkeep of diverse piping systems, including refrigerant piping, split systems, and air handlers.
  • Direct on-site personnel, ensuring efficient and high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to fulfill project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations in all work performed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Guide and mentor team members, promoting a culture of professional growth and development.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings to ensure precise execution of project plans.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and uphold company standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in commercial HVAC construction, including design, construction, budgeting, and management.
  • Extensive knowledge of various piping systems; expertise in hydronics is highly valued.
  • OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing job site personnel, with the ability to mentor and guide apprentices and journeymen.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects.
  • Foundational knowledge of building systems and their integration with HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certifications from Technical School, Trade School, or Apprenticeship Programs are advantageous.
