We are currently seeking a Layout Technician to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate layout of construction sites, adhering to plumbing codes and specifications. The successful candidate will analyze building plans and drawings to ascertain the necessary work and installation sequence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the layout process on construction sites, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.
  • Interpret and evaluate blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize CAD software proficiently to create and modify layouts.
  • Conduct field measurements and collaborate with team members to ensure precision in installations.
  • Maintain awareness of industry standards and regulations to uphold quality and safety.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree or technical certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a layout technician role or similar position.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in layout preparation.
  • Ability to work on-site and perform necessary field measurements.
