Role Summary:
We are in search of a proficient Mechanical Foreman to oversee the daily management of piping projects. This role involves planning, executing, and supervising project operations. You will be responsible for managing teams, delegating tasks, and ensuring that client expectations and project deadlines are consistently met. This position is ideal for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in piping and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation and upkeep of various piping systems, including refrigerant piping and air handlers.
- Direct on-site personnel, ensuring efficient and high-quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth.
- Interpret mechanical drawings for accurate project execution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in commercial HVAC construction.
- Extensive knowledge of various piping systems; expertise in hydronics is preferred.
- OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated experience in managing job site personnel.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and commercial construction.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and their integration with HVAC and plumbing.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Certifications from Technical School, Trade School, or Apprenticeship Programs are advantageous.
