Key Responsibilities:

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Analyze and define governmental financial business practices along with opportunities for Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange (EC/EDI).
  • Develop automated solutions that seamlessly integrate relational databases and distributed systems into the financial business framework.
  • Identify potential challenges and propose effective solutions through thorough analysis.
  • Collaborate with functional specialists, automation experts, contractors, vendors, and clients to translate requirements into automated applications.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator among various disciplines involved in the proposed solutions.
  • Engage with both IT and finance professionals to document workflows, suggest improvements, and act as a liaison between financial and automation specialists.
  • Implement advanced applications that enhance the automation of financial processes while adhering to established accounting principles and practices.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in financial management.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in financial management with a proven track record in analyzing, designing, and developing automated applications tailored to unique business practices.
