Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for coordinating the new hire process, maintaining employment records, and providing support during open enrollment. If you have a passion for helping people and a knack for administrative tasks, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the new hire process, including distributing exit interviews and tracking responses
  • Maintain up-to-date employment records and personnel files
  • Provide support during open enrollment, including serving as a benefits specialist and processing benefits changes
  • Conduct benefit audits and maintain benefits accrual information
  • Assure proper authorization of payroll actions and validate payroll checks
  • Input employee work schedules and time records in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain applicable records for state and federal reporting
  • Distribute exceptions reports to supervisors and prepare management reports as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One year of Human Resources/payroll/clerical experience preferred
  • Proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing required
  • Valid driver's license required
