Job Summary

The Coordinator I, Human Resources will provide human resources services to employees and hiring managers at complex, centralized, system-wide locations. This role will coordinate training and development programs, identify and resolve human resources concerns, and serve as a partner for hiring managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees
  • Identify and resolve human resources concerns, including employee relations issues
  • Provide advice and counsel on human resources policies and practices
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefits, payroll, and compensation departments
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including representing HR at campus and college events
  • Prepare and maintain employment records using human resources management systems
  • Coordinate performance evaluation processes and benefits open enrollment
Requirements
  • Associate degree or higher and at least 1 year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and college-level communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • Detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple projects and adhere to timelines
