Product Manager

Location: Hybrid

The foundr team is collaborating with a rapidly expanding AI startup focused on building a strong foundation through key hires. Currently in the seed stage, the company has established a solid annual recurring revenue and is poised for significant growth.

This position represents a unique opportunity to merge responsibilities across product management, operations, and marketing as the first hire in this domain. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in defining the operational structure, creating product roadmaps, and developing thorough product documentation. You will oversee the engineering team's progress, ensuring that customer success aligns with engineering efforts while holding the team accountable. Additionally, this role involves utilizing tools such as Linear and Notion, while executing essential marketing strategies to boost brand visibility. Essentially, you will be tasked with maintaining the momentum of the company's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO to establish product goals for the upcoming periods and manage the development of our product strategy.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Work in close partnership with engineering, design, and customer success teams to define product specifications and requirements. Lead the product lifecycle from conception to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Issue Management: Supervise the tracking and resolution of bugs, ensuring clarity on the status of each issue and assigning responsibility as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as the intermediary between customer success and engineering to identify critical customer issues that require attention. Prioritize and relay customer feedback to engineering while maintaining detailed records of product features, issues, and timelines.
  • Operational Support: Assist in managing various operational functions, including sales, marketing, process enhancement, organizational development, recruitment, and regular reporting.
  • Process Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of all aspects of the product development process, including decisions and timelines. Regularly update stakeholders, including leadership and investors, on progress.
  • Active Participation in Development and Growth: Engage directly in the hands-on process of building and scaling the product. Participate in strategic discussions and contribute to key decision-making processes.
