About the Role:

We are in search of a seasoned product leader who is passionate about user experience and will take charge of the ideation and execution of our product roadmap. As the VP of Product, you will determine how our offerings can align with key company objectives. You will define, prioritize, and communicate both short-term and long-term product initiatives, execute the strategy, measure the impact, and continuously iterate to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of the product development lifecycle across both creator and consumer products, from strategic vision to discovery and experimentation.
  • Enhance product adoption by implementing best practices to boost the utilization of new features.
  • Drive product-led growth and strengthen relationships with both consumers and content creators.
  • Utilize data and insights to shape product strategy and guide decision-making.
  • Facilitate collaboration among engineering, design, data, and marketing teams to create and execute a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Recruit and expand the product team as the inaugural manager within our product organization.
  • Establish a comprehensive approach to understanding user behavior through testing, qualitative experimentation, and integrating user feedback into our product development processes.
  • Lead and manage stakeholder communications, ensuring alignment between vision and results.

About You:

  • A dedicated learner with a passion for acquiring knowledge and mastering best practices in product and operational excellence, particularly within the digital fitness and wellness app landscape.
  • 7+ years of experience in launching innovative digital products within a product-driven technology organization, preferably in SaaS or with a strong understanding of growth.
  • Proficient in envisioning and defining product strategy through clear requirements and user stories, with a focus on product-driven growth.
  • Skilled in building, measuring, and reporting on essential business metrics and experiments.
  • Experienced in discerning when to adopt a scrappy, iterative approach versus launching a polished product.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to develop and motivate product and engineering teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels and with customers.
  • Passionate about creating products that have a positive impact.
  • A strong desire to thrive and celebrate life in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Experience with two-sided markets or subscription businesses, particularly in content, is a plus.
