Overview: This role is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to all banking clients, whether face-to-face, via telephone, or through written communication. The position necessitates a comprehensive understanding of all client transactions, proficient communication skills, and the capability to promote and refer various banking products and services. Client Relationship Specialists are tasked with managing risks, building new connections, opening accounts, processing transactions, and maintaining precise records of negotiable instruments, all while ensuring professionalism, efficiency, friendliness, and accuracy.

Compensation: The salary range established for this position is $29,800 to $34,300 annually, reflecting the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may differ based on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and location.

The Company provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K match. Additional rewards may encompass performance-based bonuses and wellness days.

Applicants must possess current work authorization upon accepting a position with First Foundation Bank. Currently, the Company is unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an Employment Visa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a solid understanding of all banking products and services.
  • Contribute to achieving branch sales targets and objectives (e.g., deposits, loans, referrals).
  • Generate new business to help meet established production and profitability goals of the branch.
  • Needs-Based Selling: Actively promotes, cross-sells, and refers products and services to meet clients' financial needs.
  • Prepare and compile new account applications and necessary information to establish new accounts for both business and consumer clients.
  • Refer client opportunities to internal and external sales partners to fulfill client financial needs.
  • Provide ongoing relationship management with existing clients.
  • Exceed client expectations in terms of accuracy, efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Address clients' inquiries and requests regarding their accounts.
  • Process routine to complex client transactions, including deposits, transfers, wires, and check cashing.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in financial services or equivalent sales/service experience required.
Skills:
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization and the community.
  • General Mathematics and Accounting proficiency.
  • Able to assess situations, make decisions, and achieve successful resolutions.
  • Experienced in the effective use of core banking deposit and new account software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Time Allocation:

25% = Risk Management, Operations, Compliance, Training, Meetings, etc.

75% = Client Service/Sales, Lobby Management
