Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients on behalf of the financial advisory team.
  • Ensure comprehensive client care and uphold commitments made to clients.
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention of accounts.
  • Enhance assets under management from the designated client portfolio.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities to better serve existing clients.
  • Develop loyal client advocates and generate new client relationships through these connections.
  • Advocate for and implement Northwestern Mutual's planning culture, processes, and tools.
  • Oversee the formulation and execution of risk and investment strategies tailored to each client's financial plan.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill service requests related to risk and investment products.
  • Represent the organization and the team's brand publicly.
  • Assist in the development of team marketing strategies and provide general marketing support.
  • Prepare and manage client communications and expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry and economic trends to enhance client service and relationships.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with clients, colleagues, and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong organizational and management skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proactive approach to tasks with efficient time management.
  • Excellent client service skills in both in-person and telephone interactions.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Series 63 or 66 Certification (to be obtained within the first six months).
  • Series 7 Certification (to be obtained within the first 12 months).
  • CFP Designation (to be obtained within the first three years).
  • Life and Health Insurance License (to be obtained within the first month).

Compensation and Benefits:

Annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, complemented by bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities.
