Position Summary:

The Client Relationship Manager Associate (CRMA) plays a crucial role in supporting the firm's strategic objectives, contributing to profitability and revenue enhancement by ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients while effectively managing risk and exposure. This position serves as a foundational training role, designed to equip the individual with the necessary skills and knowledge to transition into a full Client Relationship Manager role.

The CRMA reports directly to the Division Client Relationship Manager and collaborates closely with the Market Executive. As a vital member of the Market leadership team, the CRMA partners with the Client Relationship Manager to oversee Client Associates, Service Support Staff, and the Market's operational functions, which include transaction processing and document control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client service expectations are met while effectively managing risk for the organization.
  • Upon obtaining necessary licenses, review and authorize client documentation and transactions as directed by the Office Management Team.
  • Assist in the training and development of Client Associates and Service Support Staff within the Market.
  • Gain insights into various topics, including Merrill's products and services, risk assessment, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and client-focused individual with the ability to obtain relevant licenses within a specified timeframe.
  • Strong client service and communication skills are essential.
  • Preferred experience of 3 to 5 years in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and corporate policies is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of investment products such as retirement plans, mutual funds, and annuities is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in managing teams is a plus.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Standard first shift hours.
