The Veterinary Emergency + Referral Center of Hawaii (VERC) operates as a premier 24-hour veterinary emergency and specialty facility. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with a comprehensive in-house laboratory, ultrasonography, CT, MRI, and electrochemotherapy.

Position Overview:
The Client Service Representative is responsible for showcasing outstanding customer service skills consistently, representing the organization effectively while managing daily front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients warmly and with compassion.
- Accurately prepare and review documents and medical records.
- Inform and guide clients about the services and practices of the Veterinary Specialty Hospital.
- Handle appointments, emergencies, and client inquiries, ensuring top-tier care and satisfaction.
- Manage admissions and discharges with precision; schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
- Process invoices and payments accurately.
- Maintain and update client and pet records in compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and emailing.
Work Schedule: Per Diem client care representatives are expected to work two shifts each month.
Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike. They should be adept at supporting team objectives and responding effectively to the concerns of others.
The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of Windows-based computer applications, along with proven communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Additionally, candidates should be able to identify and seek assistance in client-related situations where standard protocols may not apply.
