Our projects are permanent, and our impact is massive. ClimateWells is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and backed by blue-chip venture capital investors.

Job Description

Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships and facilitating their funding and participation in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and research potential purchasers of carbon credits through various channels, including industry databases, networking events, and referrals.
  • Initiate contact with purchasers to introduce our projects and their impacts.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals outlining the benefits of participating in our program, addressing purchasers' concerns and objectives effectively.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with purchasers, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and financial arrangements.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with purchasers to ensure successful project implementation and maximize carbon credit sales opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics related to carbon credits and oil and gas production to inform business development strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, environmental science, engineering, petroleum, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of sales or business development experience, preferably selling into the enterprise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with carbon credit markets and environmental regulations is a plus.
  • Must be located in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.
